Dear YWCO Soccer Teams, 

The YWCO is committed to providing the best service to our teams and the adult soccer community. With this being said, we are excited to announce several big changes to our program beginning this season. 

First of all, we have recognized the need for more staff resources in order to take our program to a higher level. Jessie Goodwin has been named our Recreation Director. Jessie comes with a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Georgia and has worked as the Director of our successful After School and Summer Day Camp programs for the past six years. She will assure that the Adult Soccer Staff has the support and resources they need to run a quality program. Danny Bryant will continue in his duties as Administrative Manager. Danny will have additional support in the form of communications and fields coordinators. We are confident that these new positions will make for a fun and smooth running season.

Secondly, we will soon be revealing our new website that allows for online registration, scheduling, team management, message boards and standings. We believe this new website will prove to be instrumental in effective communication among the league members and with the YWCO.

Finally, last year we focused on field improvement and purchased four new goals. Moving forward, we will be replacing the remaining two goals. Also, Jessie and her team will be looking into hosting tournaments and other opportunities to serve the Athens Area Community. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday afternoons here at the YWCO.
